This is Brit. They are a non-binary person of color who uses mixed media to make beautiful art as seen above. I met Brit a few years ago and they’re the kind of person that when they hug you, they mean it. Their tenderness is something they use in their day-to-day and is shared through their art as well. Beyond their kindness is a creative mind. Not only do they make incredible art through mixed media, collage, colors etc., but they are also a hand-poke artist. Their art is to be interpreted meaning they want others to draw on what comes to mind instead of what the true meaning is that reigns from their pieces. Their art is for everyone and is received differently across the board. Some themes seen in their work are coming of age, police/institutional violence, personal battles, distress and resilience. Brit is a force to be reckon with and deserves a spotlight in many regards. Listed below are their Instagram accounts.
